She recently released a CD "No One's Believer" and as Founder of Money Be Green, Chantelle is all about The Art Money Movement. "I want to see all kinds of people making money. Money Be Green focuses on money management for creative minded people with a major focus on abundance rather than only money." St. Paul, Minnesota - Blues rock singer songwriter Bill Woodson is planning on giving the fans in newly adopted hometown a preview of his newest songs from his in-the-works CD, "Roads from the West", when he plays The Ring Mountain Cafe in Eagan Minnesota on April 17th, 2009 at 7:30 PM. The music he will be previewing is a compilation of new songs Bill wrote since relocating from California in 2007. "There was a lot of emotion with my leaving California, with all my family and friends, a great band (English Motorbike), and a well paying day job. Leaving it all behind has not been easy so I have found some of these songs to be cathartic and helping me cope." Ring Mountain Cafe has been a very supportive venue for Bill and has had him booked on a regular basis since he began live performances again after moving to Minnesota. The former front-man and songsmith for English Motorbike and Sleeper has teamed up with local country guitarist extraordinaire, Jim Czechowicz for a unique new sound that is sure to spearhead a brave new world of crossover genre collaboration. Along with the new songs, Bill has kept some of the best songs he wrote for English Motorbike in his set list. "I thought when I came to Minnesota I was going to start fresh and develop all new songs and a new sound with new musicians. For the most part, this is how it worked out. But, some of the fans have demanded that I play some of the more popular English Motorbike songs like, "Love by Myself" and "Ride with Me". The "Roads from the West" CD which include songs such as "Second Son", "Strong and Silent Type" and "Strength of Will" represents a new sound that can be identified as a merging of blues, R&B, country and rockabilly into the syllabic rhythms of America. The CD should be finished for release sometime in early summer." For more information see www.myspace.com/billwoodsonmusic or call 714/478-2455 for interview requests. |
